本課程是碩士班(M字頭)課程,目的在於培養學生具有社會政策的性別思考與性別政策的規劃能力,並且將會著重跨領域和跨國研究之討論和學習。

課程內容分為四大部分:
第一部分是婦女與性別政策的相關理論。此部份將探討性別理論與福利國家,同時也將探討自由主義與性別與社會政策的關係,以及社會權,相對於性別階層化和性別權力是否相對立?另外是探討攸關婦女與福利國家的性別角色和婦女人權的變遷。
第二部分是婦女與性別政策的相關政策領域。這部分將會包括性別與勞動政策或是勞動市場與社會政策,社會權與生殖選擇政策,以及自由主義和性別化政策。
第三部分是探討國家、市場與家庭三者的關係。此部分將探討歐洲婦女之工作,家庭以及社會政策,挪威和瑞典友善女性福利國家,接著是義大利的性別、禮物關係和福利國家文化,再其次是法國的婦女,工作與福利。
第四部分將是性別政策的實例討論。家庭政策與生育率的提升,性別平等與生育率等等。 

課程目標
課程設計主要目標有三:
1.培養學生成為敏於婦女與性別政策的分析和規劃者:將協助學生認識性別政策議題的形成和規劃,以及政策資源配置的性別融入。
2.培養學生成為婦女與性別政策的檢視者:認識性別社會政策檢視的相關方法,以及國際性別政策形成過程和運作結果。
3.培養學生成為婦女與社會政策變遷的行動者:包括學習性別政策介入和模擬政策實務的參與,不只是有性別政策的知識,希望有性別政策的行動與實務運作的能力。

Every student is required to present summary of papers at least two times in a semester with a summary and comment of peer-reviewed articles. 2000-3000 words . First one might be theoretical paper.

This is a course in master program which requring more discussion and interactive learning shown in the class. All students need to be more active and participative in the class.  
4. 
final report  
50% 
Final report is required as a center peice for performance evaluation. Studetns need to select a women issue and try to develop a policy-oriented paper.
